Prof. Dr. Vesna Antovska was born in 1960 in Skopje, where she completed primary and secondary education. In 1978 he enrolled at the Medical Faculty in Skopje and graduated in 1983 with an average of 9.50. In 1995 he completed his Master studies, and in 1998 he defended his Doctoral dissertation at the Medical Faculty in Skopje. In 1985 he was employed at the University Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, where he still works today. In 1993 he completed the specialization in gynecology and obstetrics, and in 2004 the subspecialization in urogynecology. In 1992 she was elected as a junior assistant at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, in 1995 as an assistant, in 2000 as an assistant professor, in 2005 as an associate professor, and from 2009 until today he is a full professor at the same department. From 2002 until today he is the Head of the Department of urogynecology and static changes at the University Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics in Skopje. Has made several educational stays abroad, such as Slovenia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Austria and others. He has participated in 3 scientific research projects, and is the author of 4 licensed patents in the field of medicine. She has participated as an invited lecturer in several congresses, symposia and training operational courses in the country and abroad. She was awarded a commendation, diploma and medal from the Macedonian Medical Association. She won the Third Prize at the World Congress of Women Innovators in Seoul, South Korea in 2016 for her patent for treating male pattern baldness and the Semi-Grand Prize at the World Congress of Women Innovators in Seoul, South Korea in 2015 for her patent for treatment of Human papilloma virus infection in women. On two occasions, in 2003 and 2007, she was named Woman of the Year by the American Biographical Institute. He has published over 100 in extenso scientific papers, twenty of which are with impact factor. He is the co-author of the Textbook of Gynecology for general medicine students and trainees and the Textbook of Obstetrics for general medicine students and trainees. He is the author of one monograph and 7 educational brochures.
